backtotop1)Chat:

When you are creating your account you have to choose between standard chat (you can type your own words) and safe chat (you can use only some specific words). Most people choose standard chat. If you are new in club penguin you will penguin talk like that:  cuz…,brb, gtg and more. You will may not understand. Look bellow:

brb: I’ll be right back

gtg: Gotta go

cya: see ya

cuz: ’cause

u:you

r:are

b: be

idk: i don’t know

lol: laughs out loud/lots of laughs

If you hear something other and you don’t understand leave a comment and I’ll answer you.

If you are using standard chat don’t use bad words. You will get banned. You can only say:

NERD!

NUB!

IDIOT!

NUT!

FOOL!

STUPID!

These will help you conversating in club penguin. I hope this helps because I got banned for 24 hours with dis part.backtotop

2)Smileys:

To show your emotions if you can’t show them by talking you can use smileyes. Here is a list of the smileys and the quick keys (the keys you have to press to show a smiley)smile

3)Pins:

Every two weeks there is a pin hidden somewhere in club penguin. YOu can put a pin in your playercard to decorate it. For a list of all the pins of club penguin click here.

Here are the 5 first pins:

1)Shamrock Pin

Rareness: 10/10
Location: Coffee Shop

2)Music Note Pin

Rareness: 10/10
Location: Pizza Parlor

3)Plant pin

Rareness: 10/10
Location: Dance Lounge

4)Pizza Pin

Rareness: 10/10
Location: Plaza

5)Balloon Pin

Rareness: 10/10
Location: Dock

Here is the pin theory:

Rule 1: If we’ve hidden a pin in a room, we won’t hide another pin in that room for at least two months. So, for instance, the Anchor is hidden in the Cove, so we won’t hide another pin there until at least May.

Rule 2: We won’t hide a pin in the Town Center. That room is the busiest room in Club Penguin.

Rule 3: We won’t hide a pin in the HQ. Not all penguins are agents, so they wouldn’t get to go there.

Rule 4: A pin won’t be hidden on Rockhopper’s Ship. Rockhopper doesn’t usually stay for two weeks, and we don’t want him to leave with the pin!

Rule 5: We try not to hide a pin in the same place twice. The next time a pin comes to the Cove, we’re not going to hide it on the log by the bonfire.

Rule 6: Pins usually look like something related to a recent update. For example the Anchor was related to Rockhopper’s ship.

backtotop4)Games:

Club Penguin has a lot of games inside. Some are just for fun and others are mostly for money. Almost every room has a game inside!!

5)Rooms & Map:

Rooms are places in club pengun like Town, the Cove and more. There are main rooms and non main rooms that are usually shops. You can go to main rooms by using the map. The map is an object that can be used to jump to various places in Club Penguin. It can be accesed by clicking on the hortcut on the bottom left of your screen. This was the only way to explore all areas of Club Penguin before the release of the Spy Phone. The Map recently witnessed a graphical update, also causing the Dojo & Mine Shack to be stripped of their Secret Room status.

The map

Here are the main rooms of club Penguin:

Beach:

S.W.F

The Beach is the area where the Lighthouse is. Every two months or so, Rockhopper comes by on the Migrator and stays at the Beach. The path to the north leads to the Ski Village, and the path to the right leads to the Dock.

Trivia:

  1. Once, a message in a bottle turned up at the Beach from Rockhopper; it is now in the Library at the Book Room where penguins can read it (Rockhopper and the Stowaway).
  2. The Save The Migrator project ocurred at the Beach. In February 11 2008, Rockhopper‘s rowboat was at the Beach and the free item was a life vest. He was in the rowboat because the Migrator had been sunk. After Rockhopper rowed away the sub was ready and a few days after some of Rockhopper’s item appeared at the beach. In April 10th 2008, the Migrator was finished and there stood some fireworks Gary the Gadget Guy invented. In April 24th 2008, Rockhopper’s motor-boat was there, with a free item, which was a red and black pirate top.

Cove:

S.W.F

The Cove is an area in Club Penguin that can be accessed from the Forest or the Map. It opened for members only on May 25, 2007 and finally opened to the public on May 29, 2007. Like the telescope at the Beacon, you can use binoculars to look at the sea. A hut, known as the surf shack, includes a surfing game called Catchin’ Waves. It was released along with the hut on June 4, 2007.

Trivia:

  1. Some penguins think that the cliffs seen in the background are the same as in G’s Secret Mission and that is not true because the cliffs in G’s Secret Mission are really the ridge run cliff.
  2. Sometimes, there is a penguin sitting on the lifeguard chair telling penguins to take their puffles out of the water as it is a myth that puffles are not allowed in the water.
  3. During the time when the fire was a bonfire penguins pretend to put out the fire with the Fire Fighter Suit.
  4. “Fish and Octopus” are sometimes seen in the water. You can also see “dogs” pretending to swim.
  5. A Map background was given to all that found the pieces of the map to the cove in a scavenger hunt.
  6. The Cove does not appear in Elite Penguin Force Game. No one knows why.

A history about the Cove:

One day, a penguin was playing Jet Pack Adventure and miscalculated his landing. He ended up in an uncharted wilderness and heard the sound of the ocean. Approaching the area, he discovered an uninhabited beach, and made a sketch of its features and location. His friend located him and they explored the beach. Unfortunately, on their way back, the map was blown out of the penguin’s grasp. The map was lost, but was later found. After a quick search and a chase across Club Penguin, the map finally led penguins to the Forest. After a few days, a staircase was built that allowed penguins to reach what was then called the Uninhabited Beach. On the day of the completion of the Uninhabited Beach it was renamed the Cove and was open to members only for a three day party. Soon after, the Cove was open to all penguins.

Dojo Courtyguard:

S.W.F

The Dojo Courtyard is the outside of the Dojo. You can either go inside the Dojo, or into the Ninja Hideout, if you’re a ninja

Trivia:

  1. The Dojo Exterior came after a Storm during Halloween. Some one or something (possibly lightning) Burned a hole in the Dojo which unveiled a new room.
  2. This was the first time penguins had ever seen the top of the dojo!
  3. The arch above Sensei appears to be a [1] Gate
  4. Inside the Dojo there is a sign that says, “Training coming November 17”. This Training is the new card game, “Card Jitsu”, this is training to become a ninja.
  5. Some People believe that the waterfall there is from the river or stream from Mission 2 and Mission 6. This building is also called the Dojo Roof because when you click Find on a Penguin, it says they are at the Dojo Roof, except when the loading takes a while, it says “Loading Dojo Exterior”
  6. In The Club Penguin Times Issue #161 it says “After years of rumors, the mystery of the Dojo is answered. A penguin named Sensei revealed he’ll be re-opening it as a school for ninjas.
  7. On the outside the dojo courtyard has two doors even though on the inside there is only one door.

Extra Details:

The Dojo Exterior was first covered with snow when the first construction work at the Dojo began. There would be a hole in the top left corner of the Dojo which you would either walk up to or click to enter the Dojo Exterior. The name of this covered-up snow was discovered when the room is loading it said the Dojo Exterior. But when you would click ‘Find’ on someones player card on your buddy list, it would say Dojo Roof. The Dojo Exterior had a mysterious gray-colored

Ski Village:

S.W.F

The Ski Village is an area in which the Sport Shop, Ski Lodge, and tour booth are. The path to the left leads to the Ski Hill.

Trivia:

  1. Sometime around the opening of the Forest/Cove the tour guide booth was moved to the Ski Village.

Plaza:

S.W.F(Sorry there isn’t any Plaza SWF that works cause of the play at the stage that always changes. But I found something more intresting!! The old plaza . I mean the one near beta testing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 🙂  )

The Plaza is an area in Club Penguin in which the Pizza Parlor, Pet Shop, and The Stage are located. The path on the left leads to the Snow Forts. The manhole next to the Pet Shop leads to the Cave. The path to the right leads to the Forest. There used to be a tour stand in the Plaza, but since the release of the Forest, it has been moved to the Ski Village. The Stage is now open as of November 16, 2007.

Trivia:

  1. The Plaza is the room with the most rooms in Club Penguin which can be accessed from it. They are the Stage, the Pizza Parlor, The Cave, the Forest, the Snow Forts and the Pet Shop.
  2. After November 2007, The Stage replaced a table with chairs.
  3. Before the Forest was released the area leading the the forest, was temporarily an entrance to the Puffle Members Party. The Pet Shop and Puffle Roundup had opened and there was a members-only party to celebrate it.
  4. The Plaza had been used in many Secret Agent missions, but in Mission 8 it was notably featured, focusing on the new play at the Stage, causing a major cue.
  5. When Rockhopper came in December, 2008 there was a Coins For Change stand in the plaza.

Town:

File:TownPan.jpg

Panorama of town (credits to “Disney Virtual Worlds”)

S.W.F

The Town is the main area in Club Penguin, which you will often arrive first at-it is the first designated spawn point. The Coffee Shop, Dance Club, and Gift Shop are in the Town. The path to the left leads to the Dock. The path to the right leads to the Snow Forts. Rockhopper usually doesn’t appear here.

Trivia:

  1. On June 20, 2008, there was an earthquake at the Town. It was revealed in a PSA mission that Herbert P. Bear caused this with a giant drill made with parts of the Clock Tower.
  2. It is one of the busiest places in Club Penguin.
  3. Some penguins advertise their Igloo parties there.
  4. In 2006 , penguins on Mammoth and Frozen servers were hanginghere instead of the Dock.
  5. After the Storm of 2008 if you clicked the ‘N’ in Night Club, a ninja would jump from building to building and then out of view.

Extra details:

According to the information supplied by the prewritten Tour Guide text, when Club Penguin has a party, the town is very well decorated for it.

Snow Forts:

S.W.F

The Snow Forts are in an area where penguins can have snowball fights. This is where the Clock Tower is. The path to the right leads to the Plaza. The middle path leads to the Ice Rink or the Soccer Pitch. The path to the left leads to the Town.

Trivia:

  1. As of April 17, 2008, the Clock Tower malfunctioned. Herbert P. Bear was the cause to the tower’s malfunction.
  2. It is believed that if the Iceberg becomes too full, penguins teleport to the Snow Forts. People thought that this meant the Iceberg was tipped, and had to rebuild itself. Unfortunately, it was actually designed to relive the iceberg of lagging. It is also important to note that penguins are not always teleported to the Snow Forts.
  3. Snow in the Snow Forts are believed to be the best snow in the whole of Club Penguin, as said in the Secret Mission #7. It is much stiffer than snow from other rooms. This is why Snowball fights are focused here.

Forest:

S.W.F

The Forest is an area in Club Penguin, accessible from the Plaza, the Cove, the Spy Phone or the Map. It opened on May 18, 2007 when there was the “find the map” scavenger hunt. The path to the left leads to the Plaza. The path to the right leads to the Cove.

Trivia:

  1. On June 6th of 2008, an Ice Cream Cone Pin was placed there.
  2. The forest was voted “the most pointless place on Club Penguin” by a recent survey on a Club Penguin fan site.
  3. Some penguins pretend to be other animals there, most commonly wolves.
  4. Although mostly empty, the forest is always packed during events when its decorated.
  5. The yellow puffle was spotted in this area and other places in Club Penguin in 2007 Halloween Party. It was thought by many to be the Golden Puffle.
  6. Many penguins use this as an alternate to the Dock, when it is full or over-populated, by recording or doing similar things that people do in the Dock.

Iceburg:

S.W.F:

The Iceberg is a secret area that can be accessed from the Map and Spy Phone.

Trivia:

  1. On New Year’s Day 2007, players found that they could walk in the sky and in the water around the Iceberg. This was fixed in the middle of the day.
  2. There were fireworks here and at the mountain On New Years Day 2008.
  3. Most people don’t see it as a “secret” room because almost everybody who plays Club Penguin knows about it.
  4. If you challenge Sensei on Card-Jitsu and he uses a level 12 water card, he’ll start rocking the iceberg

Tip of the Iceburg:

  1. It is widely rumored that it is possible to tip the Iceberg when 100 penguins are on one side of it. Some players say all 100 have to be drilling or dancing. Other penguins even say that each individual gets a certain number of coins, but this number has been said to be anywhere from 300 coins to 1,000,000. The Iceberg tip has never been done, but it may happen in the future as a community event. But as for now, it is impossible.
  2. A real surge of tipping appeared after a comic in The Penguin Times showed two bored penguins who tried to tip the Ice Berg and succeeded. In another edition of the same newspaper, Aunt Arctic answered whether the Ice Berg had ever been tipped. She said that she had never seen the feat, and that there probably will be no reward for it, proclaiming, “Tipping the Iceberg is a reward enough!”.Also in issue 151 of the penguin times she replied to a penguin that that she didn’t know but if you saw people tiring to tip it try and see for yourself.
  3. This article was there to match with the Secret Agent Mission #1. In this mission, some penguins were trapped in a piece of ice and the secret agent had to save them, by throwing out a life saver.
  4. In the Secret Agent Mission 6, Herbert P. Bear explains that the iceberg he was traveling on tipped at one point. When the player asks how he managed to tip it, he replies, “I don’t know! Icebergs aren’t supposed to tip!”, indicating that the Iceberg can not be tipped.
  5. A running gag on the PSA Missions has Klutzy and Herbert constantly bickering about the Iceberg and it’s tipping. Klutzy even mentions penguins tipping the Iceberg in Mission 9. Also in mission 9 you need to repair a rubber duck and put it in the water on the iceberg.

However, in the book ‘The Spice of Life‘ Smulley says his friend saw the Iceberg tip but Suneroo argues that the friend also said that you can get more coins in Jet Pack Adventure without collecting any. They both think that’s crazy. However, this is true so Iceberg tip might also be true.

Mine Shack:

S.W.F:

The Mine Shack is an area that can only be accessed from the Map, the Spy Phone or by finishing a game of Cart Surfer. It is simply an entrance to the Mine. The mine is part of the outskirts of Club Penguin Island, commonly known as the Underground.

Plaza:

S.W.F:Sorry there isn’t any Plaza SWF that works cause of the play at the stage that always changes. But I found something more intresting!! The old plaza, nearly beta testing!

Ski Hill:

S.W.F:

The Ski Hill or Mountain is an area that can either be accessed from the Ski Village or the Map. The path to the north-east leads to the Ski Village. The Ski Hill or Mountain is where penguins can play Sled Racing. The Ski lift connects it with Ski Village.

Trivia:

  1. In mission 9, the mine is closed and you need to weld a mine cart and put a transmitter in it then you will push it into the mine.
  2. In Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force there is a shed behind it with mining equipment, pulleys, drilling uniforms, coal, etc.

Extra deatails:

No one knows who built the Mine Shack. It was discovered in summer of 2006 after the opening of the Underground.

The story of the Mine Shack goes: Some explorers hopped on a mine cart and followed the track to see where it would lead. After a zigzagging ride, they ended up outside in a pile of snow near the mountains of Club Penguin Island. They looked back at their exit and thought it looked like a door frame. It was covered in a lot of snow. By the time they had finished digging, they had uncovered the Mine Shack. No one knows how long it was there, covered in piles of snow.

Trivia:

  1. In mission 9, the mine is closed and you need to weld a mine cart and put a transmitter in it then you will push it into the mine.
  2. In Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force there is a shed behind it with mining equipment, pulleys, drilling uniforms, coal, etc.

Ice Rink:

S.W.F (Sorry, but in SWFs some objects dissapear)

The Ice Rink was a rink where penguins can play hockey by sliding to where the puck is and hitting the puck into the nets. If you go out the door, you end up at the Snow Forts. The Ice Rink was replaced by the Soccer Pitch. The Ice Rink came back on December 19th 2008.

Trivia:

  1. You can also sit on the bench to be in the crowd and root for a team.
  2. In Mission 1, the circle on the top right side is cut by a penguin with a green snorkel. Therefore, some penguins believe there might be a new room under there. Some think that the penguin with a green snorkel opened one of the windows in the Cave dived up. That explains why there is water leaking.
  3. When the Soccer Pitch took over, more protests for the Ice Rink have been made.

Dock:

S.W.F

The Dock is a beach area where penguins can play Hydro Hopper. The path to the right leads to the Town. The path to the north-west leads to the Ski Village. The path to the left leads to the Beach. If you move your cursor over the three tubes, they bounce up and down.

Extra Details:

The Dock is a very popular place, in fact it is arguably the most popular place on the “main” servers Frozen and Mammoth. Sometimes, but rarely the room itself is full, not allowing any additional players to enter unless the population decreases. Many notable penguins come here, which partly makes it very attracting. However, the main reason is probably because of it’s plainness. It is vast and there isn’t anything you can accidentally click on because not many structures or obstacles can be seen. But it is notably decorated while a Party is taking place.

Trivia:

  1. The Dock is Mammoth and Frozen server’s most popular room. Many Penguins can be seen recording here.
  2. No one knows who owns the speed boat that is used in Hydro Hopper.
  3. There is a rumor that the green penguin with the rope in missions 9 and 10 is the driver of the speed boat. This is still needs more evidence to support the theory.
