NOTE: All pictures are taken in Windows Vista. If you have an oldest version of Microsoft Windows, these also work. “Windows’ already installed programms” like Paint and Windows Movie Maker are not installed in Mac and others but you still can download the screen recorder.

Capture pictures:

Some penguins are buying programs to capture pictures but there is a simple way.

1. Press the “prt sc” button (print screen).

WITH SOME COMPUTERS you must press the”fn” button and the “prt sc” together.

Ok?

2.Then open the program “Paint” and then press ctrl+V .

3.With the “Crop” button crop the part of picture you want, then right click and press Crop.

4.Save it.

Add pictures:

1.Click this button in your wordpress writting toolbar.

2.This will pop-up

3. Click “Select files” , and then select the picture that you want to insert into the post. It will take some seconds to upload and then click “Insert into post”

Videos:

How to capture videos:

There is a program called AutoScreenRecorder.Click here to download it. It’s free! An other one is HyperCam but when you capture a video in the top it says ”Unregistered Hypercam” and if you don’t want this you must buy it. Click here to download it. Here is the instructions(for AutoScreenRecorder).

1.Open AutoScreenRecorder

Here are some things you must do/learn once you download it.

(I mean the help file in the Free Screen Recorder)

1. Once you applied the settings you want, start recording.

NOTE:When you click “record now” then you must select the recording region. Select the region WITHOUT leaving the mouse or the following masage will pop-up.

TIP:

Make clips and join them in a single video with Windows Movie Maker ( it’s already downloaded in your computer if you are using Windows). You can also add effects or music . This really helps if you are making a music video. When you have finshed click “publish Movie” and when “in your computer” in the window that will pop-up.

Add videos:

1.Click this button in your wordpress writting toolbar:

2.Select “From URL” and then paste your video’s URL*

 * Here is how to find your URL:

From Youtube:

 1.Find your Youtube video

2.When you watch it, there is somewhere at the left  that says: URL

3.Copy and paste it in the”Sumbit URL”.

From Daily Motion:

1.Find a DailyMotion video you would like to use. Copy the embed code from the box underneath the video.

2.Copy and paste the code for the Embeddable Player into a text editor. Look for code like the following:

value=”http://www.dailymotion.com/swf/k3nwRne64kGrLYQZVP”

3.Copy the ID, which would be k3nwRne64kGrLYQZVP in this example. In your post or page enter the shortcode with the ID replaced.

From Vodpod:

You can post just about any video to your WordPress.com blog using VodPod’s “Post to WordPress” button. The “Post to WordPress” button will work on just about any site that offers Flash video with an embed code.
